Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus oil can be beneficial when it comes to lung and bronchial congestion.

Here are two suggestions for its use.

If you have a bad cough Take 4 oz of honey and put 2 drops of Eucalyptus oil in it. Mix it thoroughly. Take a teaspoon full once or twice a day and just before going to bed.

For congestion, take a square of toilet paper, fold it in half twice so it is 1 quarter the original size. Put one or two drops of Eucalyptus oil on it. Open it up and hold it lightly over your face so it is covering your nose and mouth and take a slow deep breath through your nose and mouth. Then take three to six deep breaths of fresh air then repeat. This will probably stimulate you to cough, which is probably a good thing. It will loosen up phlegm, which you will cough up. Do this three to six times. You can do this three or four times a day until the congestion is gone.
